Crkva Svetog Preobraženja (Stara crkva)

Crkva Svetog Preobraženja (the Church of the Holy Transfiguration) is one of the most important cultural monuments of Smederevska Palanka, designated in 1982. It is a characteristic example of Serbian sacral architecture from the end of the 19th century, and is notable for its iconostasis, painted in 1902–1903 by the well-known painter Steva Todorović and his school. It keeps valuable icons and liturgical books.
