two lakes · since 1965
≈2.5 km from the town centre
An artificial reservoir created in 1965, originally for irrigation — today two lakes (Kudreč 1 and 2; the larger one about 12 hectares), around 2.5 km from the centre. It is rich in fish (carp especially) and is one of the main places locals go for a day out, above all anglers. Several places to eat and drink have been built on the shore. Note: use of the water for swimming has occasionally been restricted because of water quality — check the current situation before swimming.
