Traveller tip
Trains towards Belgrade stop in Mladenovac, and Mladenovac is a city municipality of Belgrade — public transport in Belgrade has been free for everyone since 1 January 2025. From Mladenovac you continue into the city on buses 491, 492, 493, 499 (Voždovac, Šumice, BAS i Slavija) with no ticket.
The BG:VOZ train to Mladenovac is temporarily suspended (since 18 February 2026), so you continue by bus. Buy the ticket at the counter before departure — buying on board costs extra.

Železnička stanica u Smederevskoj Palanci nalazi se na magistralnoj pruzi Beograd–Niš — najstarijoj pruzi u Srbiji (prvi voz prošao je 1884).
